Don't listen to the guy above my answer, contact the dealer of the car you want to buy and see what he has to offer. you can try a bank for an auto loan. Shop around for the best deal !

Banks or credit unions are the place to go. The first dude is pulling your leg. Dealers will steer you to someone that gives THEM a good deal, NOT you.
