I saw a 2003 Mazda Miata for sale on Craigslist. It had 240,000 miles on it. Would it still be worth picking up? (this would be my first car)

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I guess what I'm really asking is would it
break down as soon as I got it, or are they
pretty much reliable forever?

While MX-5 engines are built to last...I definitely wouldn't buy one off of Craigslist...God only knows what issues there might be...especially with mileage THAT high. You can do better..hopefully by now you did!
