Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I found a miata that is a hardtop/soft top automatic with 55k miles. They want 8k for it. Is that a bit high? If it is, what should i be trying to get it down to?

For a '91???? That price is way too high!. Even with the low miles, cars that old tend to show significant signs of wear. I would try to get him for 5k if not lower. Also, make sure he agrees to an inspection before you decide on the car. I have an '02 with 53k miles that i bought for 10k.
