Car wont start

I put a new fuel pump in my Oldsmobile 98 but it
will not start i changed the pump origanily because
i thought it ws burnt up but stil wont get fuel ti fuel

My 98 olds regency would turn over but wouldn’t start. Long story short, what the problem was, the brain where the coil packs plug in had oil and grime and wasn’t making a good contact. Cleaned it, put it back together and the car started first turn of the key.

These mechanics just spin you around, it’s this or that. They have never helped me, their answers are wrong, and you’ll spend money trying what their throwing at you.
