The don't use a camshaft position sensor on that engine but rather a crankshaft position sensor. More than likely that was what the code is for.
i changed the crankshaft censor but didnt make any different. thanks bobby
You most likely have a p0341 for a camshaft position code. Without going too far into detail, either your Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is internally shorted or you have a short in between you Electronic Ignition Control Module (EICM) and the PCM. Your car ascertains camshaft position through a 5v reference signal passed through an inductive plate under the EICM, which in this case may be shorted. This type of concern is better dealt with by your local dealer.
today i trystarting the car and now it wont start i checked for spark and now she is not getting any spark
I had the same code on mine. Turned out the back of the ignition module (the side that contacts the transmission) was caked up with dirt and oxidation. Preventing a good solid negative ground. All I did was clean the back of the module and the transmission contact patch with a scraper and a scotch pad.
Had the same thing happen to me and replaced both Ign. coils and cleaned the contacts - seen a couple other cars fail the same way
