Are you buying it as a second or third vehicle? Then it might be worth it if you just drive it occasional. For a daily driver and you want it to last a few years? Probably not. How many miles do you drive a year?

It's always a huge gamble on high mileage cars. Even well taken care of cars at that mileage are risky, not to mention it's well past the service interval for certain components like a timing chain. If owner can't produce a maintenance record for those service intervals I would pass. The key to buying a used car is LOW MILEAGE.
