Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I live in Mexico close to Guadalajara and Scions are few and far between.
My 2006 Scion XA has had the side mirrors knocked off so many times
they can't be screwed and glued anymore.  I want to buy replacement
mirrors housings while I am in Dallas visiting.  New ones are way too
expensive from Toyota. Can I use mirrors I found on-line that fit a 2006
Scion TC?  The parts I really need are the black plastic 'arms' that attaches
to the car, but they seem to come as a package, the whole assembly.
Thanks for any help.

check with the folks at car-part.com the single largest available inventory of all salvagers who wish to participate...you might have to talk to a person, would hazard to guess a replacement would be 15-25 dollars ea~

I found myself in the same situation and would like to know if tc mirror will work for xa as well -HELP!

I'm in the same boat. Really would love to know what those "arms" are called and if they have a part number or item number what that is as well. Plus, did you ever figure out if the TC mirrors fit or not? The images I see online look almost exactly like a Scion XA side mirror.
