Get the codes but sounds like random misfire

You'll probably get P0301, P0302, P0303 depending on which cylinder is mis-firing. A few different things can cause this condition but the most common for your Subaru is bad coil pack

I know it gets repeated on here a lot, but you can get the codes read for free at most auto parts stores. Just ask at the counter.
Just go to ur local auto parts store, they will read the codes for u free of charge
