Could be some shift solenoids, should just take it to a transmission shop for proper diagnosis.

I was told it could be several things the shift sensor track sensor and a transmission range sensor . I'm going to take it up to the Ford place and have them hook it up to the computer
That would be the best thing to do so you know whats going on.
I'm no mechanic but had the same problem I think. When I shifted from Park to reverse the car jumped and made a loud noise. I drove it really slow to Firestone and they said it was the O2 sensor and it costs me $275 . I don't know if that was the real problem but whatever they did fixed it.
