oil sensor light

my 2005 touareg oil sensor light came on ,had a new one fitted but the oil light
is still on. changed the oil & filter but the light is still on have you any ideas.

If your sensors and oil's good, only other thing I can think of is your oil pump.

car is running perfect, no bad noises or anything like that. oil light came on, i checked the oil & it was a bit low. so i topped it up but the light didn't go off. !!

Your oil pump won't make any noises when it goes out. It's good if you don't hear noises when your oil pump goes out because there's no damage to your engine yet.
