What does it mean when your oil pressure stop engine comes on and off. It has come on 7 times in 2 months.

Also how long since your last oil and filter change? Low oil or dirty filter could cause a low oil pressure issue.

hey, i have Tuareg 2004, v6, i have the same problem and i just changed the oil and as soon as left the shop started to getting error! oil pressure stop engine, its beeping and driving me crazy! what should be the oil level on the dash ? please help! i am getting crazy of that noise! and worried about the oil, i dont know they put too much oil or less, when i check my oil level on the engine the one side shows too much and other side shows normal!!

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU COULD HAVE BAD OIL PRESSURE SWITCH SOME CARS WHEN SWITCH IS PAD CAR THINKS LOW ON OIL AND WILL MAKE CAR GO INTO LIMP MODE OR CAR WILL SHUT OFF SO ENGINE WONT GET DAMAGED.
