Anti-Freeze Leak

Asked by JLC Oct 02, 2007 at 01:02 PM about the 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 1.8 that has developed a leak from a small hose that is between the radiator fan and the engine, just below the oil dip-stick. The hose is leaking at each end around the hose clamps. Is this just weak clamps or a sign of something worse?

All you need to do is replace the hose and the clamps and you should be fine. This is fairly normal for an older vehicle.
