What could of happened to my Jetta 02 2.0 , upper Co2 sensor made check engine light to go on them couple weeks later check light engine started flashing when driving.?

Asked by Ruben23s Oct 22, 2016 at 07:50 PM about the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After the light engine stared flashing while going on the expressway approx
70-75 MPH , I immediately pull over and turned off the car, after getting out
the car and check the motor I realized smoke was coming out the manifold air
intake and by the upper sensor, after removing hose connected to the air
intake valve I notice a lot of oils coming from the motor. After towing the car
back to my house my friend checked the codes and it specified a missfired in
the first piston. I already change the four spark plugs but the motor stills
shakes and smoke stills come out the car . I have not drove it at all after this
happend .
Any suggestions on what could of be? How can I fixed it? I will really
appreciated. If further details needed I will be more than happy to give them
to you guys.
Thank you so much

Sounds like you have a clogged catatlic converter or muffler.
