I have a 2000 volkswagen passat 6 cylinder and the oil pressure light it coming on

It says my engine has no oil pressure. I bought an oil pressure switch, but where is that located. My oil filter is at the bottom of my engine so anything but the filter is hard to reach, but I know it is in that general area. Anything will help!

I had that problem and after some test and error issues, it was fixed cleaning the oil bomb,and using thicker oil
