also the windows won't roll down, but the locks work and the stereo works. and the buttons on the key don't work. When i turn the key there is nothing, besides the lights,it doesn't turn over. i just replaced the battery

Sounds like either a security system problem, or a starter solenoid. You will have to have this diagnosed by a mechanic.
