Agreed, you've got a lot of good driving left ahead of you. Make sure to have the timing belt replaced ASAP since you've hit 100k miles.
I have 163,000 miles on my 2007 Passat wagon....I have only ever used premium gas and regular maintenance although it is now needing a computer but I think is worth putting one in.

I own a 22 year old Passat with approximately 170K miles on it and it is still going strong. The biggest advice is get it maintenanced per the schedule and get things fixed when the dealer says it needs something. Even if I spend $750 a year on it now that it is older, that is only 2 car payments a year and I drive it for free the other 10 months. Still love it after all these years. Can't wait to see how long it goes! I was sad to hear that after the 2022 Passat, VW won't be making any more : (
