Engine Computer

Asked by ratrod202 Mar 03, 2007 at 10:12 PM about the 1983 Ford Mustang

Question type: Car Customization

Does the 1983 Ford 5.0 4V HO have a computer in the engine? If it does, how hard is it to work on, and for example, if I was to add a high performance cam, will the computer have a fit?

I couldn't run this answer down on the web rat rod so I will refer you to Mustang heaven, Mid-Country Mustang in PA. Call Pat toll free at 1-800-358-8081 . He'll tell you everything you need to know and maybe even more than you want to know about all of your Mustang projects. Good luck!
