i thought front disk and rear drums were standard.
svo"s have disk's in all four corners as well as 93 cobra, but 4 wheel disks didnt start on normal mustangs until 94
Yes Daniel is right it is standard, mine is a 93 and it has disk on front and drums on back and all of Chris's info is dead on.
IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY'RE SAYING. IT HAS DRUMS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS. THEY HAVEN'T HAD THAT FOR AT LEAST 40 YEARS. BUT DRUMS = REAR, & DISC UP FRONT STANDARD EVERY MAKER NOW DAYS.
a lot of newer cars have disks all around
disc front drums back.
1983 would be disk's up front and drums in the back. No fox mustang ever had drums all around.
YEAH, THIS IS WHAT I SAID. THE ORIGINAL QUESTION STATED. "IT HAS DRUM BRAKES", WHICH SOUNDS LIKE THEY'RE SAYING THAT THE MUSTANG HAS FOUR WHEEL "DRUMS". AND AS CHRIS SAID "NO" FOX MUSTANG CAME WITH FOUR WHEEL DRUMS. IAM AGREEING THAT DRUM BRAKES IN THE REAR, & DISC BRAKES UP FRONT IS HOW THEY COME. UNLESS THEY HAVE FOUR WHEEL "DISC".
