I have a c230 kompressor. my keys fell in water, i dried it out and left it apart for a couple of hours. it started working again for four hours then stopped. now when i put it in the ignition it does not turn the engine over nor does any light comes on. do i need a new key with the electronics or should i just open the key again and remove everything from inside for a couple of days

on my 2004 cl500, It hard starts only when I refuel, It will start find all other times except when I'm finished putting gas. I went ahead and changed the charcoal canister, same problem. 1 Answer

My cl500 mercedes won't start when I put gas, changed the charcoal canister, but that did not fix the problem. The car starts up fine all other times.

So I bought a new battery for my car. Gauges, lights, display is all in working order. When I start the car everything is good except it will not go into gear. Is there some sort of override switch? 4 Answers
