Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I Should jump start my car ( E270 cdi) and by mistake I put the + and negative
poles wrong when I connect them to the fresh battery. After that I get error
warnings from ABS, EBS, and BAS, I can not see whats wrong. Do anybody
happens to know.?

It is possible that you need to reset the stability control, the steering needs to relearn center position, with engine running turn the steering wheel full left ,then full right , then center position. I had this problem on my slk and that corrected the problem

iF you have not dis- connected the battery ? and the ecu check light is not on ? then no hard codes are stored , you might dis connect the negative terminal and reattach ,you would have to reset clock and radio code and probably the steering recenter again but might get the polarity correct, i have had my 2002 battery disconnected and those are only things affected
