looking at a 1998 E320 with 134K miles on it from a MB dealer. should the mileage be of concern.

Asked by Azmt123 Apr 23, 2010 at 03:10 PM about the 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am looking for a car for my parents. There is a Buick Le Sabre,1997, in apparent good condition, with 74000 miles, for $5995.

the same lot has a 1998 E 320 with 134K miles for $6995. The car has been MB dealer maintained.

Should I worry at that mileage that repairs are likely? Does the Buick with less miles likely have less risk of repairs, or does MB build quality overcome that mileage gap?

I have a couple of Mercedes myself, so am biased, but have no familiarity with the E320

i own a 1994 e320 coupe, it has 150k miles on it, but it runs like it has 50k miles on it, compared to other cars, go with it, besides its been maitained by the dealer, thats usually the best.
