MY 300 SL HAS LESS THAN 15,000KM

Asked by ronaldo Jan 21, 2013 at 05:09 AM about the 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Purchased in New Jersey in 1990, shipped to Japan and imported to Canada in 2006. .Just wondering what could I sell for today? A/C converted but other than that it is stock with all things basically perfect.

The KBB only goes back to 1993 and shows $3,540 for the same car 1993, with that low mileage, 9,000 miles in 23 years??? I hope it was properly 'mothballed'. or there could be serious problems, it HAD to have been stored...didn't it? If it was, stored properly that is, you have a real gem on your hands and a collector would jump all over that car, paying far more than that, arbitrary listings go out the window in a situation like this..find the right buyer, or take it to an auction for classic cars, which yours certainly is, with a low starting bid of, say, $8k

It's a 10 to 13K dollar car. With any luck you'll sell it for that amount too, the low miles will do it. Good luck.
