Can I flat tow (4 wheels down) a 1989 Dodge Dakota?

Asked by Micasalay Jun 09, 2011 at 01:16 PM about the 1989 Dodge Dakota

Question type: General

I want to tow my 1989 Dakota convertible (with an automatic transmission) behind an RV. Can I flat tow it or do I need to use a dolly? I want to use it for errands, sightseeing, etc. so disconnecting the driveshaft would not be convenient.

You can tow it like that! If it is 4x4 then would it be different but a regular dakota no problem! Good luck!!
