where can i go to type in the codes on fender well to see what the origanal color of my car was and if it had a vynal top

get the vin #,take it to a paint shop they can get the original color for you.

I got the original build sheet. Is there any where on the web i can go to get it decoded. Are get the codes off of the fender well under the hood and get those decoded.

the build sheet should have the color on it.as for the paint code it should be on firrewall or in glove box,not on vin.their were 4 popular colors on thiscar in 72,1 black 2 dark blue 3 yellow 4 white
