Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have have replaced the throttle body and map and oxagen sensors. Could it be the hall effect that is making it go dead when you put it in drive. It's like it's not getting gas. What else could we try.

May soundcrazy but it sounds like its a dead coil.. i know i had a 88 dodge caravan that did the same thing ..and i changed every thing ..and my father, long time mechanic said its sounds like the coil .. they get hot then short out inside when put under load.. so one day i gave up was going to junk it out and while i was at work . my father changed the coil //.. and of corse had to rub it in was waiting outside where i was working. with the van and drove me home in it.. so its a easy chang and just might do it.
