check the frame and cab floors for rust. It's common for the bottoms of the doors and the back corners of the cab to rust badly. Overall these are great trucks and last a very long time. The 318 is a great engine and they run for ever. The auto trannies..not so much, but as long as it has been maintained, it will be more than reliable. I had to rebuild the auto trany on my 87 ram 150 4x4 at 185,000 miles.
