1989 Dodge P/U 5.2L:. After driving even just a few minutes, when motor is turned off radiator empties itself!!! Fill it up, same process everytime. Truck did overheat initially on first drive, after purchase, of course!

Best to get the thermostat changed out. Once you do then the cooling system needs to be purged from air. Here is a video on how to purge the cooling system... www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeTgmdRkQtY
