Is it a daily driver or has it sit unused for a while?
Did you drain and clean the fuel tank before trying to get it back going?

No, but i was told it was cleaned when i bought it
Oh ok. Just a thought. Old gas can give you the same issues you are having. And mixing new gas in with old does not always help. Have you looked at the spark plugs? Have you looked at the dist. Cap and rotor button? With one sitting for a while moisture can build up in there causing corrosion. Just some things to look into.

do you happen too know where there located? not familiar with dodge engines, its a 316
http://autorepair.about.com/library/firing_orders/bl-fo-12419.htm --- ok this not a picture but more of just a lay out. Your dist cap is in the back center of the engine compartment (round thing in picture). Remove it and the rotor button is under it.
