Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 dodge pick up 2500
gasoline..it starts a runs great all day
but then after running it for over an
hour it shuts down loss of power in the
gas pedal but stays idling but with no
power and no response to the gas
pedal and shuts down

Sounds like the computer is kicking the engine into "Limp-in Mode" So you don't burn up the motor or transmission? Are you getting any dash lights or gauges telling you anything? Are you getting Hot after the hour you leave it running?
