I use Motorcraft Synthetic blend in my Dodge Ram. Just use a recognized name brand at the weight (grade) recommended in the owner's manual. I am guessing it will be 5w30. Change it every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or once a year whichever comes first. If you drive a lot of stop and go or city driving change it closer to 5,000 miles, if you drive mostly highway miles change it closer to 7,500 miles.
