What controls my rear running lights and break lights?

As for brake light, probably bulb. If it was the brake light switch or fuse , for one you wouldn't be able to get it shifted out of Park and neither would work. Now let me pull up fuse diagram for taillights
Well, I'm not surprised I have been through this before. There is no image I can copy for your fuse box. But It's fuse #18, in the fuse box yp under the dash behind the little flip-down coin-holder. But that fuse box is a real pain to access. If you have dash lights working, the instrument cluster lights work with headlights on, don't bother. It's the same fuse. Also license plate light. With headlights on, have a look to see if license plate light comes on. Same fuse.
