Question type: Maintenance & Repair
i have just purchased a 2007 Toyota Avalon, i notice that the washer fluid light was on. So i raised the hood and proceeded to fill the washer fluid tank. i noticed that my feet were becoming spattered with a liquid solution. I looked at the driveway surface and saw all of the washer fluid i just poured into the washer tank running across my driveway.
what can this be? loose hose or broken tank. only 4000 miles on this car.

My father has a 2006 Avalon Touring and loves it and has never had a problem with it....I'm sure you'll love the car. That is a strange problem, its either a cut hose or a broken tank. I would have been at the Toyota dealership 10 minutes after I saw the leak! Take a swing by the service department and have them fix the leak. Toyota service providers are usually very good when it comes to issues like this.

I have an 07 Avalon with the same issue. Fortunately I had it in for service and they noticed the leak as well. The part is on order for replacement.
Having the same problem-what part had to be replaced? Was it covered under the warranty (I have an 07)? Thanks.
i have an 07 and i seen it leaking so i jacked up my car and removed the cover and seen my hose was lose so i popped it back in week later it happened again so i relized the tube was over stretched so i strapped a zip tie and no problem so far
I have a '97 Avalon and my girlfriend has a '98 Camry, both have leaking washer fluid issues. I haven't looked into them yet but will post again when I do. Meantime anybody have this issue with the older Avalon/Camry? Thanks!
i have an 07 avalon limited which has the same problem twice now.
I have 07 we just bought has only 22K miles and the washer fluid just leaked all over garage. I found there was a problem with 2005 - 2007 under warranty however it was 36months or 36K miles; so I'm out of luck there but will try taking to Toyota anyway.
My 96' toyota avalon is in the shop getting breaks done... I told him to look at the windsheild washer tank because I think it has a crack in it and to fix it. As well as the fuel cap bracket doesnt open when I press the fuel button Inside the car.
