starting this thing takes for ever 10secs fuel pressure is there spark is too but after the 10scs it does
start and runs great anyone know a solution my e-mail is sillastic1@rogers.com

I had the same problem with my 89 Cherokee and it turned out to be the starter. You might want to have your starter checked to see if that is the problem?

there is a tsb on those cherokees' for the short hose that runs from the fuel pump to the sending unit inside the tank. had same problem on my 91 replaced the fuel pump and it starts within three seconds now.

replace the crank sensor,is on top of tranny,wire conector is at back of engine,if it is the straight 6 cyl.
