How does the 1970 Jeep Wagoneer drive?

Asked by Jack Mar 29, 2017 at 12:14 PM about the 1970 Jeep Wagoneer

Question type: General

I've been looking at vehicles lately, and I was wondering if anyone had
experience driving a 1970 (ish) Jeep Wagoneer, and could tell me how it
handles, accelerates, and brakes?  How does it compare to driving a
pickup?  I'm just in love with how they look, but I've mostly driven a small
car most my life.

I'm also curious about the MPG for v8 350 -- guessing it's fairly low (around
10).

Maybe this review will help you. As I recall, Jeeps back then with the Quadra trac 4WD system had a terrible reputation. http://autoweek.com/article/car-life/great-americans-jeep-grand- wagoneer
