popping noise underneath vehicle when making either right or left turn

I told you wrong I think its the u(universal) joint. It's the joint that allows the car's wheels to turn.
you have the same problem my 89 toyota camry has... its the cv boots... they wear out and make like a clacking noise when you turn... it gets annoying... but that sounds like your problem... i cant give u good advice ont hat one cuz i didnt drive nor see the vehicle... but take it to a mechanic and have them take a look... couldnt hurt...
it could be the spider gears in the rear axle. or it could be the front axle joints which are the u-jolints at the the end of the axle by the wheels.
It could either be the CV joint or ball joints and if it's doing it when you turn the wheels either way both sides will need replaced.
