Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1965 VW beetle here on Guam for sale.  It's in excellent condition.  in addition it has low miles (approx 15K) and i'm the second owner.  the orginial owner was the German Consulate in Los Angeles in the 1980's.

it depends on the condition of the car, and most importantly the location. best thing to do is look at the papers, internet, and such to find out what cars in the same condition are going for in your area. for example in california a well restored nice STOCK 65 would be around 2500-3500. here in oklahoma the same car would be upward of 6 grand. might check on thesamba.com and look in the classifieds. it will give you an idea.

Agree, I've been shopping around for another bug and here in Texas you cannot get a all stock one "fully restored" for 2500. For 2500 here you are getting a car that is running but either missing part of a restoration or needs work in one way or another. Just depends on the market.
