Where is the car? How good is good condition? Is there any rust, any dents, what condition is the paint it, etc? What about engine, tyres and interior? What model (engine size) is it? To answer your question fairly basically, a '68 isn't a particularly rare or desirable bug, but they look quite a bit nicer than the later Super-Beetles. In Australia, a good, solid '68 with no major problems and average-good paint and interior is probably worth between $2500 and $4000 Australian, depending on how good it is. I can't comment on the values in other countries. Any rips in the headlining will reduce the value quite considerably as they are expensive to replace. Defects in brakes and suspension are cheap to fix, but a heavily worn engine or transmission would seriously effect the car's value.
