Rear view mirror for 1971 VW convertible super beetle

Need a different mirror. I can’t see out the back
when top is down.

We saw a convertible at a car show that had a mirror that looked like it was upside down on purpose so you could see over the folded down top!

I've google searched with every word I can imagine and haven't found one so far. My husband will probably end up fabricating one :)

Use the side mirrors. It sounds like what you want would resemble a periscope.
