Does the 1971 volkswagen beetle gives problems with the motor temp? Of course I live in a tropical country.

I want to know if this car gives problems with the temperature in the motor because it doesn;t have radiator. I live in the Dominican Republic and is very hot all year long. So at the momento someone decide to buy a car, temp is an issue we can't forget. Thanks.

the vw is an air colled engine,should not have any problems.

I have never heard of any problems with overheating of the VW in a tropical temp. You see a lot of older Beetles in pictures of countries like Brazil, Peru, etc., so I would think you'd be fine in the DR.
