lost my key, is a 73 easy to hotwire or get a new key for ?

any local locksmith can come to you and make a key,or replace key switch not a hard job,recomend not hot wireing.

Yes, you may even be able to buy a new lock cylinder with keys for about $10 at your local auto parts store.

i agree with you papa. when i lost my keys last January after hearing the dealer's price (which was a total rip off) i luckily found a local auto locksmith responsible of my area from here http://carkeyadvice.com/united-kingdom-car-key-specialist- index .. he made me a new key and programmed it for £ 140.
