Were there any 1973 beetles or super beetles with a flat windshield like years of old. Looking to buy one to restore but truly want 72 or older and I think this one is older because of flat windshiel
Supposed 73 super beetle for sale near me...good price but has totally flat windshield like my older beetles.
As there were no VIN's for beetles prior to 1981 can't verify. Is there any other way to ID year. Nothing on
door or door post either.
73 standard Beetles had flat windshields. Super Beetles had curved.They made both.
did get it. Must be standard. Runs like a dream at 70 mph, Paint work needed a bit but no dings or dents. Went from $3000 down to $2500 and I am happy with price. Have had 59, 63, 67 and 71 Beetles and kind of miss them. Hopefully you can tell me where to get manuals and maybe parts. Has ignition key, but not door keys. An y help would be appreciated. Yep, thats my 1950 Willys Wagon in picture. Did all that myself, but am now 73 so slowing down.
