Where can I find a rear bumper for my 1979 volkswagen beetle convertible
I got rear ended this month and the rear bumper needs to be replaced or repaired. I cannot locate a bumper (orginal quality) any where or with any company I have dealt with. Where can I locate one or get it repaired (if possible)
Look online for VW Trend or Hot VW and you will find a lot of after market shops selling everything from bumpers to rubber engine kits and everything else you can think of.

If you're in the UK, Alan Schofield, Vw Heritage, Just Kampers, Kleft & Klok ..... there are loads to choose from online. However, we've used all the above for over five years and can recommend all of them. For body parts though, it has to be Schofields, their panels fit first time, every time.
