Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is located under the back driver
side of the vehicle. This part is dry
rotten and broke off. Does anybody
know what this could be?

That looks like a bump stop. When the suspension bottoms out on a big bump the A arm hits a rubber buffer to prevent damage. It looks like yours has rotted and needs to be replaced.
