Question type: Shopping & Pricing

What do you think of a 07 Acura TL with 110,000 miles for
$4500? Appears to be in really good condition. A little
concerned about the miles.

Mine is over 220,000 miles and still runs like a champ. Could use a new suspension though

Sounds like a good deal. See if it has a rebuilt title or is clean. Honda/Acura engines really run good for a while and probably will clear easily in the 200k range. Factor up to 20k driven yearly and it should be good for at least 5 years. They normally sell for $6000+ for that mileage but I would check the Kelly blue book value. When something sounds too good to be true really check it out and ask questions because there may be some issues the seller didn’t disclose.

110k miles will be in need of the "6" service which is timing belt, water pump and spark plugs. Make sure that the suspension bushings are not cracked- they tend to go through the compliance bushings on the front. Hopefully it doesn't have navigation, those seem to have a lot of issues with the nav main computer- the DVD drive in the trunk. Engine wise the J series V6 is bullet proof as long as the timing belt has been changed. Make sure oil has been changed regularly. Inspect for any signs of corrosion around the rear 1/4 panels if the car is from the rust belt.
