Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1984 Volvo 240 DL Stationwagon. It runs good but needs both in and out tank fuel pumps replaced. It just hit 100,000 miles when the fuel pump went out. I need to sell it but am not sure what it's worth is. It's rough, but not terribly (exterior/interior)

if it doesn't run, probably not much, less than 500 bucks. the fuel pumps that are under the car are expensive too. You might get acouple extra bucks if it has a manual trans too.

Are your sure its the fuel pump and not the fuel pump / fuel injection relay? It could also be an ECU issue. Its worth 500 to 800 to someone who is willing to fix it up and drive it. Where are you located?
