Is 1987 Volve 740s galvanized?

I was trying to find out when Volvo started to use galvanized steel on body... and I cannot find out if the 1987 740s are galvznized or not. Pls help.

I believe that they are, although I don't have any proof. Sales literature of late 1980s-early 1990s Jeeps showed the use of galvanized body panels, and Volvo is typically ahead of most domestic mfgs. when it comes to technical innovation.

It would depend on were the car was made. untill 1990 so were not galvinized steel some were look on the inside of the drivers door pannel. If it was made in the US it is not Galvinized if it was made anywere eles it will be.
