I have a '86 SLL & the speedo, tach & fuel gauge don't work (digital) is it the gauges or power box?

Start with the fuse. Do the dash lights work OK? Anythng else quit on you? I seriously doubt all those gauges would fail independently all at once. Possible but highly unlikely

The dash lights work, although not very bright. All the "warning" lights on top light up when started, it's just the speedo, tach & odometer. I had a shop look at the fuses (which turned out to be the problem with the back tail lights) anything else I should look for?

The dash light brightness is adjustable, but as for the gauges I'm stumped
