Fuel system
I have a 1985 pontiac firebird , the car fired right up
every day . 3 days ago it ran out of gas while
running in my driveway. I put fresh gas in it and
went to fire it up and nothing it just keeps turning
over but doesn't start. Today i checked to see if
maybe i caused a vapor lock or something so i
released pressure in fuel system and re primed the
fuel system . So i am getting gas to the fuel rail ,
and i checked for spark and i am getting spark at
the plugs. But when i pulled out a couple of plugs
to check them they looked dry so my question is, if
i am getting gas to the fuel rail but not to the
cylinders what would cause that to happen ? Could
my fuel pressure regulator be bad all the sudden
from running out of gas , or could it be a sensor ?
Out of ideas need a answer lol .
