don't see leak but reservoir not pumping water to radiator.  Fans kicking on. Need Pump?

some friends suggest thermostat

I see smoke

your water pump may be bad,if u seeing smoke check the oil ,pull dipstick,see if oil is clear or milkey looking,it may be a blown head gasket,if milkey.

Yikes! Blown head gasket sounds scary! How bad is that?

did u check oil on dip stick,was it clean or milkey looking,head gasket is a majior repair,when one blowes you have to replace both ,the heads have to come off.but we havent determed it is that.check oil,and let me know how it looks first.
