Which heater hose that comes from the firewall goes to the water pump.The top outlet or the bottom outlet?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There R 2 outlets for the heater hoses coming out of the firewall.
1 outlet on top & 1 outlet below the top one.
Which one goes to the block?

If they are not labeled INFLOW / OUTFLOW. It doesn't matter. You have a pass thru core.

AgeeKustoms is correct. One hose is supply and the other is return. If you can see a valve on one of the hoses, that is supply to heater core.

I have a 2016 Chevy Impala LS and I have a friend who says a hose to the heater core needs to be replaced cause it can bust at any time..Im asking for a video guiding me to fix it .. plz
